LOCATION: Western Cape – Stellenbosch
SALARY: R480K –R540K CTC p/a neg
DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS:
An international Agriculture group has an exciting opportunity available to join their team In Stellenbosch, in the role of Account Manager.
- BSC. In Agriculture or related field.
- 2-3 years Sales and marketing experience in the Agriculture Industry, with a sound commercial understanding of FMCG markets
- Experience in developing trusting relationships with stakeholders
- Fruit industry experience (Soft-Fruit experience desirable)
- Knowledge and experience with Sustainable Agriculture Practices
The Account Manager actively manages and expands relationships with designated customers and is responsible, to achieve assigned account objectives, whilst still Supporting the Sales Management Team.
You will be responsible for creating a high-level sales program with designated customers, in order to achieve assigned targets/objectives.
You will use your Relationship building skills and commercial savvy to negotiate volume and prices with customers in order to optimise sales and grower returns, in a sustainable manner.
You will also be involved with managing volumes and pack types, liaising with Logistics and Operations teams, as well as Demand Planners to manage supply and demand.
