SALARY AND BENEFITS: R1.5 – R2 Mil neg depending on experience
DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS:
Join a rapidly expanding multinational manufacturing company as their Finance Director. Reporting directly to the MD, the Finance Director will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, ensuring systems and processes are optimized, and identifying growth opportunities for the business. This role requires a seasoned finance professional with deep knowledge of the manufacturing industry and strong hands-on experience at the factory level. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving strategy, costing, international financial reporting, and managing large finance teams.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- CA(SA) qualification (MBA or CIMA is an added advantage)
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in Senior Finance roles
- Experience within the manufacturing industry essential
- Strong costing expertise and understanding of manufacturing/costing principles
- Experience working in a multinational environment
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, SAGE, SAP, or similar ERP systems
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing senior and mid-management finance teams
- Experience with international financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and mentor a large finance team, including middle and senior management, ensuring high performance and effective leadership at all levels
- Directly support the MD in financial decision-making and strategy development
- Oversee financial systems, processes, and controls to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Manage asset management, budgets, and forecasts
- Identify and report on growth opportunities for the business
- Drive pricing and revenue management strategies
- Provide financial reports at a country level and ensure alignment with global reporting standards
