Description / Synopsis

Join a food industry leader as a Bakery Advisor in Cape Town, offering hands-on product support and training to retail clients while driving bakery sales growth. The ideal candidate brings solid FMCG sales experience and a passion for all things baking.

Minimum Requirements

• Technical baking qualification and/or practical baking experience
• At least 3 years’ sales experience in an FMCG environment
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Code 8 driver’s license
• Willingness to be available for after-hours support

Responsibilities

• Training internal and external bakers in our products
• Conduct daily in-store baking demonstrations across key retail accounts
• Provide hands-on technical advice and solutions to bakery teams and address client concerns
• Drive growth in yeast and specialty ingredient sales
• Report on industry trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities
• Participate in trade events and exhibitions
• Train both internal staff and retail bakers on product usage
