Description / Synopsis

An industry leader in the agricultural sector is searching for driven and customer-orientated Agronomists / Technical Sales Managers to join their team. This key role focuses on product marketing, technical support for seed sales, and building lasting relationships with farmers and agents. 

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification or proven experience in seed sales
• BASOS / AVCASA certification advantageous
• Valid driver’s licence
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (read, write, speak)
• Proficient computer skills and solid administrative ability
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement targeted marketing and sales plans for seed products
• Offer technical advice and troubleshooting to farmers and agents
• Plan, coordinate, and assess trials for both existing and new products
• Deliver up-to-date product information to customers and agents
• Conduct presentations during farmer workshops and study groups
• Meet sales budgets by setting and monitoring targets
• Assist with stock management and consignment inventory control
